In this course, students explore:

- Life cycle assessment (LCA) of construction materials
- How IoT and GIS tools help monitor environmental performance
- Real-world case studies and policies that support climate-smart construction
Through hands-on projects and systems thinking, students learn how to design cities and buildings that reduce carbon emissions and withstand climate-related risks.

Because by 2050, cities are expected to contribute to 70% of CO₂ emissions.
